AdBlue Additive is specially formulated to prevent the formation and deposition of urea microcrystals on the components of the SCR system. This process is particularly common in vehicles equipped with "Stop and Go" technology.
Adding the AdBlue additive to the AdBlue tank in Euro 6 vehicles thus protects the SCR system from the formation of microcrystals that could cause blockages or complete shutdown of the entire system. When added in the recommended dosage to AdBlue, the additive does not alter the technical specifications of the ISO-22241 standard.
